WoW Forever companion pet
Worg Pup
Worg Pup is a Vanilla Classic dungeon companion rewarded by Kibler's Exotic Pets. Both factions can take the quest from Kibler in Burning Steppes, capture a living Bloodaxe Worg Pup near Halycon in Lower Blackrock Spire, and return it for the bind-on-pickup Worg Carrier.

How to get Worg Pup
At level 55 or higher, both factions can accept Kibler's Exotic Pets from Kibler in Burning Steppes. Enter Lower Blackrock Spire and reach the Bloodaxe Worg Pups near Halycon. Use the provided Empty Worg Pup Cage on a living pup within range to create a Caged Worg Pup, then return it to Kibler for the Worg Carrier. The reward binds on pickup, so it cannot be traded. In Classic, summoning the companion can display either a black-furred or brown-furred Worg Pup.
Pick up Kibler's Exotic Pets
Kibler gives the quest in Burning Steppes. The Classic LBRS quest guide lists it for both factions with a minimum level of 55.
He provides an Empty Worg Pup Cage and asks you to return with one living Bloodaxe Worg Pup captured inside it.
Capture a pup near Halycon
The Bloodaxe Worg Pups are found around Halycon's room in Lower Blackrock Spire.
Use the cage on a living pup. The capture effect has a short cast and creates the Caged Worg Pup needed for the quest turn-in.
Return to Kibler for the Worg Carrier
Bring the Caged Worg Pup back to Kibler. He domesticates it and rewards the Worg Carrier.
The carrier binds on pickup, so this is not a companion that another player can simply farm and sell to you.
The summoned pup can appear in two colors
The Classic companion guide and historical item comments document two appearances for the summoned Worg Pup: black and brown.
The appearance is selected when summoned rather than being determined by the particular pup you captured.
Ignore the later Quartermaster Zigris drop
Retail-era references may list Worg Carrier as a drop from Quartermaster Zigris. That source was added after the original quest was removed.
For Vanilla Classic, Kibler's Exotic Pets is the correct acquisition route.
Worgs are the favored companions of orcs and are fiercely loyal on the battlefield.
