Smolderweb Hatchling is a Vanilla Classic dungeon companion rewarded by En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why. Both factions can take Kibler's quest in Burning Steppes, collect 15 Spire Spider Eggs near Mother Smolderweb in Lower Blackrock Spire, and return for the bind-on-pickup Smolderweb Carrier.

How to get Smolderweb Hatchling
At level 55 or higher, both factions can accept En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why from Kibler in Burning Steppes. Enter Lower Blackrock Spire and collect 15 Spire Spider Eggs in the spider section near Mother Smolderweb. Clicking the egg objects can spawn spiderlings, so be prepared for extra enemies. Return the eggs to Kibler to receive the Smolderweb Carrier. The carrier binds on pickup and cannot be traded.
Pick up En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why from Kibler
Kibler in Burning Steppes offers En-Ay-Es-Tee-Why to both factions. The Classic LBRS quest guide lists a minimum level of 55.
The quest asks for 15 Spire Spider Eggs from inside Lower Blackrock Spire.
Collect eggs near Mother Smolderweb
The quest eggs are found in the spider section as you move toward Mother Smolderweb. They are clickable world objects rather than drops you need to farm from a particular spider.
Wowhead's LBRS guide warns that opening an egg can spawn spiderlings, so each collection point can turn into a small fight.
Return the eggs for the Smolderweb Carrier
Once you have 15 Spire Spider Eggs, return to Kibler in Burning Steppes.
He rewards the Smolderweb Carrier, which summons the Smolderweb Hatchling. The carrier binds on pickup and cannot be transferred to another collector.
Worg Pup can be completed on the same LBRS trip
Kibler also offers Kibler's Exotic Pets for the Worg Pup. Both companion quests send you into Lower Blackrock Spire.
If you have both quests before entering, you can collect the spider eggs and capture the Bloodaxe Worg Pup during the same dungeon run.
Do not use the later Mother Smolderweb drop source
Later versions of World of Warcraft removed this quest and eventually added a direct pet drop to replace it.
