WoW Forever companion pet
Peddlefeet
Peddlefeet is a rare Vanilla Classic Love is in the Air companion summoned by the Truesilver Shafted Arrow. In the original event, the permanent pet is not bought for 40 Love Tokens; it is a rare reward from once-per-hour Pledges or Gifts of Adoration.

How to get Peddlefeet
During Love is in the Air, buy Love Tokens plus Cologne or Perfume from an innkeeper. Wear Cologne to interact with receptive female NPCs or Perfume to interact with receptive male NPCs, then give a Love Token to a guard or civilian in a faction capital. A guard gives a Pledge of Adoration; a civilian gives a Gift of Adoration. You can receive an Adoration container about once per hour while not affected by Adored or Heartbroken. The Truesilver Shafted Arrow is a rare possible reward inside those containers and binds when picked up once removed. Historical Vanilla references put the arrow around a 1% rarity. The unopened Adoration container itself is tradable, so collectors can trade a container known to hold the arrow before looting it.
Woo a guard or civilian during Love is in the Air
Buy Love Tokens and a Cologne or Perfume Bottle from an innkeeper. Cologne lets you woo receptive female NPCs, while Perfume works on receptive male NPCs.
Give a Love Token to a guard for a Pledge of Adoration or to a civilian for a Gift of Adoration.
Adoration attempts are time-gated
Receiving a Pledge or Gift of Adoration gives the one-hour Adored buff. While Adored, further NPC interactions give Friendship rewards instead of another Adoration container.
Heartbroken can also block the process until the debuff expires or another player removes it with an Unbestowed Friendship Bracelet.
The Truesilver Shafted Arrow is the rare permanent pet reward
The permanent Peddlefeet companion comes from Truesilver Shafted Arrow, a rare reward inside Pledges and Gifts of Adoration.
Warcraft Wiki describes the pre-2010 reward at roughly a one-percent chance, and historical Classic comments reflect very wide variance because each character normally gets only one Adoration attempt per hour.
Do not buy it for 40 Love Tokens in Vanilla
The familiar 40-Love-Token vendor purchase was added in 2010 and belongs to later versions of World of Warcraft.
Vanilla Classic uses the older rare Adoration-container system, so Forever Companions does not list the 40-token vendor as the Classic source.
Keep the arrow inside the container if you want to trade it
Truesilver Shafted Arrow binds when picked up in Classic.
Pledges and Gifts of Adoration are not soulbound, so a player can inspect an Adoration container, leave the arrow inside, and trade or mail the container to the intended collector before the arrow is looted.
Silver Shafted Arrow is only temporary
Silver Shafted Arrow can make Peddlefeet follow another player temporarily, but it does not grant the permanent collectible companion.
Collectors need Truesilver Shafted Arrow for the permanent summon item.
The power of love can be a dangerous thing, especially when wielded by an airborne, ill-tempered goblin.
