How to get Crimson Snake
Horde players can purchase Crimson Snake from Xan'tish, the Snake Vendor in Orgrimmar, for a base price of 50 silver before reputation discounts. Xan'tish patrols the road between Orgrimmar's front gate and the Valley of Spirits. Crimson Snake binds when used, so Alliance collectors can obtain one through the Neutral Auction House or another cross-faction trade.
Buy Crimson Snake from Xan'tish
Xan'tish is the Vanilla Classic source for Crimson Snake. He walks the road between Orgrimmar's front gate and the Valley of Spirits.
The snake has unlimited vendor stock, so the only practical challenge is locating the moving vendor.
Complete the original snake trio together
Black Kingsnake and Brown Snake are sold by Xan'tish alongside Crimson Snake. All three use the same Orgrimmar vendor route.
Collectors pursuing the full Classic snake set can purchase all three during the same visit.
Dealer Rashaad is not a Vanilla source
The Burning Crusade later added Dealer Rashaad in Netherstorm as another Crimson Snake vendor. That source does not exist in Vanilla Classic.
Forever Companions therefore keeps Xan'tish as the direct Vanilla acquisition source, with player trade as the alternative.
The crimson snake is favored among the Darkspear trolls for not only its vicious nature, but also its steadfast loyalty.
