How to get Panda Cub
Panda Cub is included with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection. The companion is represented by the Panda Collar, returning one of the original World of Warcraft Collector's Edition pets to Forever collectors.
How Panda Cub returns in Forever
Forever makes Panda Cub available through the Skyborne Epic Pack and Warcraft Forever Collection. Blizzard's package comparison groups Panda with Zergling, Diablo, and Pachimari as the four companion pets included in those packages.
This is a simpler acquisition path than the original 2004 Collector's Edition implementation, which used Collector's Edition account entitlement and a starting-zone Welcome! voucher quest.
An original World of Warcraft collector pet
Panda Cub was one of the three companion choices attached to the original World of Warcraft Collector's Edition, alongside Mini Diablo and Zergling. That history makes the Forever version a returning collector pet rather than a completely new design.
The panda's best-known idle behavior is falling asleep. The Pet Journal describes it as highly sought after despite its narcoleptic nature, and the model retains the sleepy character that made the original companion memorable.
The Pet Journal describes Panda Cub as highly sought after by adventurers despite its narcoleptic nature. Its occasional sleeping animation has been part of the companion's identity since the original Collector's Edition era.
