How to get Cockatiel
Purchase the Parrot Cage (Cockatiel) from Narkk, the Pirate Supplies vendor in Booty Bay, Stranglethorn Vale, for 40 silver. Narkk is a neutral vendor, so both Alliance and Horde can purchase the bird directly. The cage binds when used, which also allows it to be traded or sold before being learned.
Buy Cockatiel directly in Booty Bay
Narkk is a neutral Pirate Supplies vendor in Booty Bay, so Cockatiel does not require a faction-specific transfer. Both Alliance and Horde characters can reach the same vendor and make the purchase.
The Parrot Cage (Cockatiel) costs 40 silver. Use the cage after purchase to add Cockatiel to your companion collection.
Narkk sells two parrots
Cockatiel shares Narkk's companion inventory with Senegal. If you are collecting both Booty Bay vendor parrots, buy them during the same visit.
Both cages bind when used, so either bird can also be traded or sold before it is learned.
The WoW Pet Journal describes Cockatiel as a clever bird that may be capable of speech, while being smart enough to know when silence is the better choice.
